Much like season 8 of Game of Thrones, the Iron Throne of ACC basketball is up for grabs. With Roy already retired and Coach K shaking the college basketball world to its core with the breaking news of his retirement after the 2021-22 season, the ACC couldn’t be turned more upside down than Westeros.
Lucky for us, we don’t have to worry about fire-breathing dragons or Cersei, just bad officiating. No, the only thing NC State basketball has to worry about is seizing this opportunity as if we were Jon Snow waiting to be crowned king. The stage is set for the Wolfpack to bounce back and be a dynamic team in the State of North Carolina like they once were in the ’80s.
